At Pool Screens R Us, we only use a premium screen that will last 10-15 years. Be careful if you allow a contractor to re-screen using imported materials, as it will only last 3-5 years. With every re-screen, we thoroughly pressure wash the aluminum inside and out. We also pressure wash the pool deck. We replace the cement anchors and update the door handles and closers. Can pool cages be painted?

Yes! We save our customers thousands of dollars every day by refurbishing their existing pool enclosure.

• We start by covering the pool and pool deck.
• Cover shrubs and plants. Remove all old screens.
• Upgrading all the screws to coated stainless steel screws. These are designed to prevent corrosion for at least 10 years.
• We then thoroughly pressure wash all the aluminum.
• Then we sand the entire surface.
• Apply a special primer to any bare metal areas.
• Clean the structure again with a chemical solvent to remove any residual contamination.
• Apply two coats of Sherwin Williams direct to metal paint. We have found that this is the best product on the market to handle the Florida elements.
• We then clean up everything and install a new screen and spline.
• Replace the doors and install new hurricane straps.
